Steam workshop not downloading mod
Well i am not on steam beta and the mods i subscribe too do not download so i tried to install them manually in the mods folder etc and they still do not show up when the game starts. My game was not downloaded via steam it is external. Ah, unfortunately for you, steam doesn't fully support external copies of games. Some Steam users that are trying to download mods from Steam’s Workshop are reportedly having problems subscribing to mods. In most cases, the mod is not getting registered for download or don’t appear inside the download queue. I have an issue when I subscribe a mod from Workshop it doesn't initiate the download. If it does initiate it, it shows up in downloads but doesn't progress at all. If I restart Steam the download is gone and nothing happens. I have created 'mod' directory into my /documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2/ and I'm sure that I have read and write permissions there as well. Mods from workshop won't download I subscribe a few mods from workshop but they do not want to download. I try reset steam, computer but its did not help. After an hour of searching I finally came across several different threads that all mentioned the mods download through Steam's Download queue. Since I work from home from time to time, I had scheduled Steam to download while I sleep. After subscribing to Workshop items in Steam, the items appear in-game under Steam Workshop, but not under Mods. Therefore, I have no access to the on/off switch for the items and I am fairly certain that they have not been downloaded.
The Steam client has a built in means of downloading and installing mods, and is possibly one of the safest means of getting mods.
When downloading updates for multiple-files mods, Steam Client will download content but do not update the mod files when any Arma 3 related application (Arma 3, Launcher, Publisher) is running.

GMOD IS NOT DOWNLOADING ADDONS FROM STEAM WORKSHOP :: Garry's Mod Help / Problems / Bugs. I've noticed that both steps involve using a lot of bandwidth. Garry's Mod makes everything possible.
